Bio of Micah Soule. Micah Soule served as a soldier in the American Revolution from 30 Dec 1777 to 3 Apr 1778, mostly at Cambridge, as a private in Captain Ebenezer Washburn's Company, Col. Eleazer Brooks regiment of guards. (Massachusetts Soldiers & Sailors of the Revolution 14:648 and 14:652). He died shortly after his return from service. His Mayflower Index is #31,980. The record of his will administered by his eldest son Josiah is in Case #18842, Plymouth County Probate Records. He was married at Duxbury, MA to Mercy Southworth (Mayflower Descendant 11:81 by Samuel Veazie, Clerk, on 31 May 1740. She was daughter of Constant and Rebecca Simmons/Southworth (Mayflower index #32180 and #32181. They were first cousins and great grand-children of John Alden of the Mayflower through his daughter Elizabeth Alden who married William Pabodie.
