Delia Briggs Obituary
Delia (Inglehart) Briggs, of Duxbury, formerly of Concord, MA at home January 29. Wife of the late John DeQuedville Briggs Jr. Beloved mother of Henrietta Cosentino of Los Angeles, CA and John DeQ uedville Briggs of Easton, MD. She also leaves a sister Georgia Borden Cox of Fort Lauderdale, FL, 3 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Delia was born in Watertown, NY, the daughter of George and Rhea (Grems) Inglehart; she went to school in Watertown, NY and was graduated from Smith College in 1939. Delia taught third grade and then served as Assistant Head Mistress at Brooks School in Concord, MA. A memorial celebration will be held at the Village at Duxbury, 290 Kings-town Way in Duxbury, MA on Saturday, February 18 from 4 | 5:30 p.m. Donations in her name can be made online to the Wildlands Trust, www.wildlandstrust.org. Burial will be private in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth, MA. On-line condolences may be made at richarddavisfuneralhome.com.
